#29 2021 ALL MY HOMES ARE FACING THE SEA —
Video: 9:16, color, sound, 01:00 min.
A fluid living room —
where intimacy is folded around itself.
Windows and mirrors,
and framed reflections admitting light
onto our contemporary existence.
Where we are entangled hybrid organisms guarding our privacy.
All my homes are facing the sea —
transporting its occupants.
Trying to draw the exterior inside
and wrapping the interior around the exterior.
In this steep rocky landscape
secret geometries float.
So here I stand —
one millimetre away from you.
Looking beyond the balcony-fringe
at my garden Eden.
Becoming part of the outside —
and watching you disappear from my field of view.
