[SCATTERED MEMORIES OF A MOMENTARY MOVEMENT 01]

Wearable bronzed steel 3D Print, scent [C5H8_SPATIAL PRODUCTION, based on the artists thoughts and notes taken during the first visit of Le Corbusier’s Unité d´habitation in Marseille], 3D Scan of a performer’s movement within the publicly accessible areas “rues intérieures” / “interior streets” of the Unité d’Habitation

Dimensions 7x7cm

[SCATTERED MEMORIES OF A MOMENTARY MOVEMENT 01] is based on the research and analysis of Le Corbusier’s Unité d’Habitation in Marseilles. A housing unit which in theory functions as a [social] structure - a mechanism that governs and shapes its inhabitants. The work is part of a larger-scale research project on which I have been working on together with the art historian Sonia d’Alto (IT) since 2017.

[SCATTERED MEMORIES OF A MOMENTARY MOVEMENT 01] is the first part of a three-part series of performative, 3D printed objects [souvenirs] based on the 3D scans of the artists’ movements within the publicly accessible areas “rues intérieures” / “interior streets” of the Unité d’Habitation.

[SCATTERED MEMORIES OF A MOMENTARY MOVEMENT 01] is part of the installation [NON] HUMAN ASSEMBLAGES UNFOLDING OVER TIME.
